Marci Pather is currently the Executive Director of the Dursots & All Joy Foods group, responsible for Innovation & Development. He graduated from the DUT ( Durban University of Technology) in Food science & Technology, and opened his first food factory in 1986, which was acquired by a bigger group in 1988. He founded All Joy Foods there-after & listed the business on JSE in 1998, the business is currently on the Alt-X of the JSE. Marci has been engaged in the food industry, for more than 33 years and has developed many brands & products that are presently family favourites in South Africa. He has represented the South African Food Industry on several outward trade missions with the Department of Trade & Industry, and has presented at the Global Tomato Forum. He is passionate about growing the South African food manufacturing sector, the group that he currently represents has started a new factory in Limpopo processing tomatoes.
