African Agri Investment Awards 2026 open for nominations

Nominations are now open for the 2026 African Agri Investment Awards, recognising the
people, businesses and initiatives making an impact across Africa’s food and agriculture
sector.
Now in their third year, the Awards form part of the African Agri Investment Indaba (AAII)
2026, taking place from 16–18 November at the Addis International Convention Center
in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The 2026 Awards span eight categories, recognising achievement across leadership,
innovation, sustainability, investment and the development of the next generation of
agricultural talent:
Rising Star Award
Woman of the Year Award
Sustainability Champion
Deal of the Year
Innovation in Food and Agriculture Award
Lifetime Achievement Award
Agri-tech Pioneer
Youth Engagement Award
“Africa’s food and agriculture sector is home to businesses, entrepreneurs and leaders
doing exceptional work, often in challenging environments,” says Ben Leyka, CEO of the
African Agri Council. “The Awards give us an opportunity to recognise that work and
showcase some of the people and businesses helping to move the sector forward.”
Previous winners have included agribusinesses, agri-tech companies, entrepreneurs
and agricultural leaders from across the continent.
